Dear Mr Bavin

I did not had your email when I got the sad news , so I sent the message

below to the EBU président 

I work with your father for about 20 years and share  of course

with him a good number of lunchs or diners during the events

I really appreciated the man beside the professional , with certainly a kind

of mutual respect close to some friendship 

He was far too young to pass away . He leaves a very strong image

inside the whole bridge community 

On behalf of the many , many Bridge players he « directed «  and myself

please accept my deepest condolences and sympathy
