It is unlikely that you will know who I am but I have been friends with your Mum & Dad since the 1980’s when Max and I were members and TD’s at the Stratford upon Avon Bridge Club. In recent decades I have been the Chief TD at the Jersey Bridge Congress and it is with great sadness that I learned today of your Dad’s untimely death. I am sure your Mum will know who I am and be able to explain the relationship to your Dad.
When I know when and where the funeral will take place I hope to attend. I am currently in Sicily directing the Overseas Congress for the EBU.
